Cheaper than buying Given the seemingly ceaseless astronomical cost of housing in Boston—homes for no more than $200,000 are far and few between, even regionally, for instance—perhaps it’s just time to buy a plot of land?
That’s the question a recent analysis from real estate research site NeighborhoodX seeks to answer.
“The starting question for our analysis is whether it might be possible for someone to camp or park an Airstream trailer on land in the city for less than the cost of buying a smaller apartment,” NeighborhoodX research director Constantine Valhouli said over email.
Turns out there were
