Framingham-based Bose Corp. recently unveiled a new audio-focused approach to augmented reality, called Bose AR, and it’s looking to invest in startups that can take advantage of the technology in ways that improve people’s everyday lives.

The audio tech firm announced that its investment arm, Bose Ventures, will put aside $50 million to support startups that are developing applications for the Bose AR platform, which combines tiny speakers, motion sensors, and a Bluetooth receiver.
